The Experience

You will hunt on remote rivers, creeks, and lakes in Southwest Alaska – The prime wilderness habitat for Black Bears. 

What to expect

We glass bears from comfortable tent base camps on ridges and do short backpack hunts or raft float hunts on rivers, creeks and lakes until we take a big trophy Black Bear on a spot-and-stalk.

Hunts are staged from our base camp which have heated Arctic Oven tents.

Sprint Hunts:
May 10th – June 15th

Fall Hunts:
August 10th – October 21st

hunt includes

Professional guide service (2×1), accommodations (Arctic Oven tents), all meals and beverages, use of equipment, infield transportation, trophy field preparation, and transportation to local taxidermist. 

travel

Arrival/departure point is Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport, Anchorage, Alaska, where you will be met at the airport. We suggest you arrive 1-2 days prior to your hunt commencing to purchase your Alaska hunting license, Black bear locking tag, & harvest tickets. We also recommend 1-2 days after in Anchorage for taxidermy trophy care.
